The Heidelberg Graduate Student Conference in English Studies is organized annually by the students of Heidelberg University's MA program in English Literature and Linguistics. The conference offers the opportunity for young researchers and scholars to present and discuss current academic topics in their fields. While every year the initial design of the program and the organization of the conference are in the hands of the students in the English Studies MA program, students of other programs and departments are, in the next step, also invited to contribute and present their own research. The English Studies Graduate Conference was originally created with the goal to enhance debate and intellectual exchange, and it has successfully done so in past years.
This year's Graduate Student Conference will take place June 10-11 2022. Information on the program, panels, and all of the talks can be found in this book of abstracts. We're looking forward to seeing you at the conference!
[2020: temporarily suspended due to COVID-restrictions]
The conference usually takes place in early summer. If you are interested in presenting, you can find the call for papers as well as other information regarding the Graduate Student Conference on our homepage and under "News" as soon as it is announced.
