Daniela Landert is Professor of English Linguistics. Her research focuses on pragmatics and her research interests include the study of spontaneous language, performed language, pragmatics of fiction, historical linguistics and historical pragmatics, corpus linguistics, corpus pragmatics, stance and modality, news discourse and mass media communication. Currently, she is working on a research project on how the spontaneous production of spoken language affects linguistic forms and functions.
